ICORBP AND COIN NEWS EXTRA SIGN MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

The International Council of Registered Blockchain Professionals ( ICORBP) , Chicago, has signed yet another historic Memorandum of Understanding, MOU, with Coin News Extra,CNE, the first 24 hours Blockchain, Fintech, Cryptocurrency and Artificial Intelligence media platform based in Nigeria.

The signing ceremony which held on 16th July, 2021 took place virtually and had in attendance the core management members of both organizations. It lasted for 31 minutes and was moderated by Dr Tammy Francis. In attendance were the CEO of both organizations, Amando Boncales, RBP, MSed, MA, PhDc., (ICORBP) and Mr Lee Uchenna Ohaeri, (Coin News Extra). Dr. Vince Vincente, Business Development Officer, ICORBP and EkeneKamchukwu, Chief Operating Officer for Coin News Extra were also present.

The collaboration aims at establishing Coin News Extra not just as ICORBP media partner, but to create awareness about the strategic role that ICORBP plays in setting standards, accrediting blockchain professionals as well as certifying practitioners in the blockchain industry worldwide. For Coin News Extra, it is a symbiotic relationship in that it will help the organization in achieving one of its core vision which is to eradicate misinformation about the blockchain.

In his opening remark, The Chief Executive Officer, ICORBP, Amando Boncales, said that he anticipates a fruitful collaboration.

He hinted, “I am looking forward to this partnership with CNE. This pact will enable us shared awareness in accreditation, certification and standardization of professional and organizational certificate in the blockchain space in North and Sub Saharan Africa. We consider Nigeria as strategic in our footprint in Africa. “

He stated further, “ICORBP, through this partnership aims at educating the public about the field of Blockchain studies and blockchain enabled eco systems. Through this partnership, we aim at creating awareness in the field of credential blockchain professional, developing accreditation for blockchain professionals, establishing standards for the blockchain profession and verifying credentials for the purpose of accreditation and certification.

This is indeed a huge task that cannot be done alone by ICORBP, it needs a strong media partner in the capacity of Coin News Extra .

The Chief Executive Officer of CNE, Mr Lee Uchenna Ohaeri who was excited about the pact, appreciated Amando Boncales and his team for making the partnership a reality stressing that CNE is passionate about informing people about the blockchain eco system. He also highlighted the goal of the organization which is to bring 5 million youths into the blockchain Fintech system in the next 5 years.

He hinted that, “This partnership is very important to what we stand for because we are going to be onboarding many people. ICORBP is an international body that certifies and also trains professionals. This is going to be an amazing and interesting partnership.”

No doubt, this partnership is a win-win for both parties and will further establish the professionalism of the blockchain industry as well as create niches for as many as aspire to make a career of it.
